Georgetown Law Library United Kingdom
The Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases, and for criminal cases from England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It hears cases of the greatest public or constitutional importance affecting the whole population.
Legislation.gov.uk carries most (but not all) types of legislation & their accompanying explanatory documents, from 1988 – present day. Most pre-1988 primary legislation is available on this site. We are currently in the process of uploading a large selection of secondary legislation from 1948 onwards.(Official UK Government site).
The Gazette (Official Public Record)
Official site of the London, Edinburgh,& Belfast Gazettes, which publish information in the form of notices. The Gazette is often cited in legislation and considered by the courts and other legal organisations to be the most effective portal to achieve this.

This seems to be a great site and had scanned copies of original legal periodicals. This is the page specifically for the London Gazette, but I believe they have others as well. Free.
