Richard SantaColoma sent us the image below of the "diptych sundial" from the Adler collection in Chicago.
Who knows how this instrument reached Chicago ? Via Governor, John Winthrop and one of the Kufflers? (zie Questions)
The year 1579 is remarkable: did the seven years old Cornelis know how it worked? Or has this inscription been added lateron?
