What we're working on

After a GGSA board meeting, we've come up with the following ideas/goals:

1. Set up a website. If you're reading this, this has been achieved.

2. Talk with faculty about being more involved in activities which increase our department's visibility on campus as a whole.

a. We'll continue to interact with faculty and aim for a few activities per semester (other than simply drinking together) which can promote GGSA and the department.

3. Figuring out what the grad students (us) want from the GGSA (this). This work will involve being transparent about our fees and funds and how they may be implemented, gathering information about what students want the GGSA to do, and beefing up the role the GGSA has in terms of improving our experiences here at UIUC.
