My research is focused on the fascinating field of behavioural ecology of ants, with a specific emphasis on associative learning and the intricate relationships among ant behaviour, environmental, and
physiological stress.
I studied the crucial role of insects as pollinators in mangroves, with a focus on their foraging behaviour and also explored the plant-flower visitor interaction and association pattern on spatiotemporal scale.
I also studied how the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from plants can attract or repel insect pests.
I have conducted morpho-taxonomical research on different insect orders, especially on cerambycids and butterflies.
I studied the therapeutic implications of plant secondary metabolites on liver cancer cells
