Dar Roberts on TV!

Dar Roberts and Max Moritz's research was featured on NBC4 News by Meteorologist Anthony Yanez. Their research titled "Effect of Reduced Summer Cloud Shading on Evaporative Demand and Wildfire in Coastal Southern California" used the weather stations throughout Southern California to determine that the marine layer is burning off earlier in the day. This causes plants to dry out earlier in the summer and has been linked to an increase in burn area.
