Annie is the current president of Rube Goldberg and was the secretary last year. When she's not studying or enjoying one of her clubs, she plays card games, reads, and goes hiking. She may or may not have a twin brother suspected of kidnapping the club treasurer, Rory. This is an on-going investigation, and in the meantime, we hope all the best for Rory.Sophomore, Chemical Engineering.
Lindsey is the current Rube Vice President. Her main career focuses (at the moment) are wastewater treatment and city planning. Her favorite thing about this club is its opportunity to compile many engineering concepts onto a single machine in creative and often silly ways. Non-Rube interests of hers include fiber arts (knitting and crochet, but not always in the "domestic" setting), lucha libre, and the paranormal.Junior, Electrical & Computer Engineering & Computer Sci.
Rory is the current Treasurer of Rube, and previously served as Historian. His current location is unknown, but he has previously been sighted in the depths of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with Annie's twin brother, working on computer architecture projects. Coincidentally, Rory also has a twin brother, but his twin made the poor choice of attending Arizona State University. While not in the captivity of homework and/or Annie's twin, Rory enjoys numerous hobbies such as fencing and long-distance running. He can also be found most days working in the University of Arizona Bookstore providing computer support and repairs.Freshman, Chemical Engineering & Computer Sci.
Amanda's favorite part about Rube is creating a machine where the process is significantly more important than the output. When she's not snapping her fingers in mousetraps in the Rube room, she works in a soil microbiology lab, plays the flute, and writes.Junior, Mechanical Engineering.
Sam is currently serving as Rube's GOAT (Go, Officer Always Training) and Webmaster. Alongside mechanical engineering, Sam likes to crochet and play croquet and his high score on iPhone Tetris is 2090044.Senior, Mechanical Engineering.

His research interests include pedagogically based instructional innovation, using quantum chemistry techniques to characterize the environmental footprint of chemicals before they are widely deployed for use, and life-cycle assessments of technology and product choices. Outside of his work life, he is father to two children, bikes more than 3,500 miles a year, reads 53+ books per year and is learning to play the piano on his own.
