Everyone has their own personal reasons for running. For some it may be physical exercise, the thrill of competition or the desire to improve stamina, for others it may simply be the enjoyment of being outdoors – a time to “clear your head.” Whatever your reason may be, you will find other members of TRC that share that same interest.
TRC is dedicated to promoting physical fitness for all ages through running. Members include professional trail running athletes as well as beginner runners. No matter whether you are a beginner runner or hard core trail blazer, TRC will support you. We can help you achieve your fitness goals through our organized trail runs, running clinics, and race events.
In addition to promoting physical fitness, TRC is involved in trail building. TRC has added more than 5 miles of new trails in the Asaph region which have been registered with DCNR and are open to hikers, runners, and mountain bikers. TRC also adopted and maintains a 4 mile stretch of the Mid State Trail between Hills Creek State Park and the River of Life Church.
