Compost Cooperative

Twin Oaks hosts a Community Compost Cooperative, part of DPR's compost network.  Started in November 2014, we have over 60 active members.  Any member of the community can take an orientation and then start bringing their food scraps to our compost system at their convenience.  Compost Cooperative members agree to help with a workday once every three months where we turn the piles, screen compost, maintain the bins, and prepare brown material for the system.  Finished compost is used in the garden and may be taken home by cooperative members.
