Brief Biography


Dr Wanqing Tu

Department of Computer Science

Durham University 

Dr. Tu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Durham University, UK. Before joining Durham University, she worked as an academic in the UK and New Zealand. Prior to this, she was an IRCSET Embark Initiative Postdoctoral Research Fellow, UCC, Ireland. Dr. Tu got her PhD from the Department of Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate of Professional Development in Higher Education (PGCPD) in Glyndwr University, and her Women and Leadership Certificate with Monash University. She is a Senior Member of the IEEE,  a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, and the Chair of the IEEE IoT Educational Activities Committee.
