Dr Wanqing Tu

Dr. Tu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Durham University, UK. Before joining Durham University, she worked as an academic in the UK and New Zealand. Prior to this, she was an IRCSET Embark Initiative Postdoctoral Research Fellow, UCC, Ireland. Dr. Tu got her PhD from the Department of Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate of Professional Development in Higher Education (PGCPD) in Glyndwr University, and her Women and Leadership Certificates with Monash University and Aurora.
Dr. Tu is an Editor for (Elsevier) Ad Hoc Networks, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IET Smart Cities. She is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, and the current Chair of the IEEE IoT Educational Activities Committee.
