o Preparation of graphene/functionalized graphene nanoplatelets through a non-oxidative process and its nanocomposite with epoxy-polysiloxane resins, structure-property relationships.
o Chemical recycling of rigid polyurethane foam scraps to prepare polyisocyanates through a non phosgene process.
o Chemical recycling of polyurethane elastomers (Spandex fiber scraps) by aminolysis with Ɛ-caprolactam and reproduced as polyurethane binder for cycled tire chips.
From September, 2003- August, 2005: Worked as researcher at Center for Application and Development of Building Materials-Vietnam Institute of Building Materials- Ministry of Constructions.
o Production and supply of unsaturated polyester resin based composites for replacement of wood based water cooling wings in cement production plants.
o Chemical recycling of polyethylene terephtalate (PET) bottles to prepare unsaturated polyester resin and fiber reinforced composite materials.
From August, 2001- August, 2003: Worked as researcher at Laboratory of Organic Catalysis-Institute of Natural Products Chemistry- Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
o Synthesis of some volatile corrosion-inhibition agents based on aminoketones derivatives for the protection of military devices and weapons.

polymers products (PC, PA, ABS, polymer blend).
· Synthesis and functionalization of functional nanomaterials: graphene, metal nanowire (silver), functional organic/ inorganic nanoparticle.
· Electrically/thermally conductive nanocomposites: Preparation and properties of polymer nanocomposite based on graphene, carbon nanotube, silver nanowire, silver nanoparticle, boron nitride nanosheet…etc.
· Composite formulation with micro & nano fillers: polymer composite based on micro/ nano fillers, glass fiber, graphene, clays, titanium dioxide…ect.
· Design, synthesis of novel functional polymers: High temperature PA, water borne polyurethanes, epoxy resins and polysiloxanes resins…etc.
· Design and synthesis of molecular based magnetic polymers: Magnetic polymers based on ferrocene derivatives.
· Organic synthesis: From functional small molecule compound (monomer) to high molecular weight compound (polymer).
