Good Day! I am writing to you today on behalf of the Trumansburg Central School District (TCSD) Trap Team, a growing club sports program for student-athletes in grades 6 to 12 (ages 12–18). Youth compete in trap shooting (clay target) events as part of the USA Clay Target League/NYS High School Clay Target League. As a school club, we are not funded by TCSD and need to fundraise for our club costs or members will pay out of pocket for such costs. As our team & program continue to expand, so do the costs associated with providing a safe, successful, and educational experience for our athletes. We are seeking sponsorships to help fund registration fees, ammunition, clay targets, state tournament participation and team apparel costs. Your support would directly impact our athletes and help ensure they have the resources needed to participate fully throughout the seasons. The Trumansburg Trap Team had its first scholastic season in the Spring of 2022. With the growth of the program, the 2025 team had 26 members participate in the spring and 14 participate in the fall competition seasons. The 2025 season's cost per athlete was approximately $300 for the spring season and $200 for the fall season. A minimum of $10,500 is needed each year to support the registration fees and shooting & target supplies for this size program. The Spring 2025 season concluded with our team placing first in conference and many students chose to fund their own way and participate in the State Tournament in Bridgeport. We are excited for the development and success of this program. To create accessible opportunities for community partners, we offer the following tiered sponsorship levels. Gold Sponsor – $1,000 ● Prominent logo/name placement on back of team shirts ● Large logo/name on team banner displayed at events ● Featured recognition in team communications (i.e. social media, event fliers, etc.) Silver Sponsor – $500 ● Logo/name placement on back of team shirts ● Medium logo/name on team banner ● Recognition in team communications (i.e. social media, event fliers, etc.) Bronze Sponsor – $250 ● Logo/name placement on back of team shirts ● Small logo/name on team banner ● Rec more infoognition on team communications (i.e. social media, event fliers, etc.) Blue Sponsor – $100 ● Name listed on team banner ● Recognition on team communications (i.e. social media, event fliers, etc.) Yellow Sponsor - up to $99 ● Recognition on team communications (i.e. social media, event fliers, etc.) We would be grateful for the opportunity to partner with you at any level that aligns with your goals. The Trumansburg Trap Team is a club sport operating through the Trumansburg Central School District and is considered a ‘for-profit’ organization, like all other clubs within the school.
