Solves the General Inverse Problem

DYNAVAL is a computer program that solves the general inverse problem for any model that can be represented by a set of linear differential equations. This difficult problem is solved using the methods of dynamic programming and generalized cross validation. DYNAVAL accompanies the textbook Practical Inverse Analysis in Engineering, by D.M. Trujillo and H.R. Busby. The user's manual is described in Appendix A of that book. The input data files for many of the examples in the book may be obtained by downloading the file below.

CONTRIBUTIONS WELCOMED!! If you would like to contribute an example for DYNAVAL in the form of an input file please do so. Of particular interest are examples that use REAL measurements. Be sure to describe the model, the nature of the measurements, and any references.
