Troy Michael Kuhn

My name is Troy Kuhn and I enjoy helping others. I am at the point in my life in which I continually look to improve myself and others around me. While continuing my education, I have been able to self reflect upon what is most important.

Number one is family. Cancer took my father's life when I was only eighteen years old. Overcoming this during my first year of college was one of the hardest things I have ever done. With the help of faith and family, I was able to understand that death is a part of life, and since you only have one life to live, make the best of it. Therefore, my number one priority is to take care of my family. I do my best to make sure they are safe, supported, educated, and are raised understanding the importance of moral and ethics.

Secondly, I firmly believe that my purpose is to help others. I strive to help others understand themselves. I help others improve themselves mentally, emotionally, and academically. I also help others understand the importance of creating short-term and long-term goals. I firmly believe that everyone needs to have a one, five, and ten year plan!

When not working in education, I love being outdoors and hunting. I teach my children the way the environment works and the interactions within it. I help manage a 600 acre farm in which we grow pumpkins and food plots for the deer and turkeys. I also assist in guiding for bear in northeastern Wisconsin. Other activities that I enjoy are four-wheeling, snowmobiling, sports, and family board game nights!

Some of my interests include: History and Discovery Channel Programming, Saltwater/Reef Aquariums, CSI and Investigative Programming, family movie nights, and fast German vehicles.

My stress relief is usually done within the confines of a deer stand or tree stand within a cedar tree. Now that my daughters are getting of age, they help me relieve my stress by also spending time with me in the woods. Since we aim to harvest quality deer, much time is spent simply enjoying the beauty of nature. When at home, I love reading educational material or watching my clown fish, tangs, and corals in my aquarium.

Finally, I believe that you must live every day to the fullest, you never know when your life may be taken from you!
