Troop 747 Leland was founded in November of 2016
We currently have 31 boys in our troop and 22 leaders & committee members.
Our Charter Organization is Woodburn Presbyterian Church
Our Scoutmaster is Kelly Henry

We have a busy and exciting schedule of outdoor activities every month, including campouts, family events and weekly learning experiences. Scouting provides the outlet to explore different careers, lifestyles and skills. Scouts in our troop have many opportunities to help out/volunteer in the community and develop team and leadership skills. We also participate in parades at least once a year.
Outings include canoeing, hiking, camping, we have also gone rock climbing, learned about cooking and how to read and follow maps. Learning through merit badges allows scouts to find out about skills such as game design, shooting sports, forestry and many others.
