The Facts of Troop 55
Troop 55 meets the first four Fridays of each month at Del Campo High, 4925 Dewey Drive Fair Oaks, CA, in Room 54 (see map). The meetings are from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Due to Covid19, we are currently meeting on Zoom.
Troop 55 is a Scout-led Troop which creates opportunities for the youth to develop character, serve their community, and provide activities to promote physical and mental fitness.
Troop 55 is a part of Carmichael's history. The Troop was founded either in 1921 or 1923 (the records are a little unclear). Learn more, from the Carmichael Troop 55 History Project.
Troop 55 is part of the Pioneer Express District and the Golden Empire Council. We are chartered by the Carmichael Kiwanis Club and are a part of the Kiwanis Youth Services outreach to the Carmichael community. Troop 55 adheres to both the Kiwanis and BSA standards and guidelines.
