Toy Design & Research: My Work in India
The interest in the study and design of toys got developed because of the hidden values of education and development in these tiny thinking toys. How do we get new concepts, and how do we develop sensible and sustainable ideas good for today & tomorrow? Ideas can be inspired from details in Nature and also culture-heritage of toys & tales.
I helped setting up a Post Graduate Program for Toy Design & Development at National Institute of design (NID), India to create toy design professionals in India. I have written books on toy design heritage in India and was inspired to create and develop new simple, creative ideas relevant for today & tomorrow.
