The playful look at existing things
Much is made in this world, materials, components, commodities and so on.
Floris Hovers sees this in some cases as a sufficient thing and tries to deal with this on a playful way. He tells about his way of working, his experience and his fascination for simplicity, austerity and color. His quest for a balance of knowledge and intuition, between work and play, between small-scale manufacturing and mass production. His own childhood and his concerns that he has about the increasingly complex world is also an important basis for his design process. The challenge remains for him to look to things in a playful way.
