- The current cycle runs from May 1st, 2018 until April 30th, 2019. This date range is a change from previous years and is the reason the system will not let you log hours prior to May 1st, 2018.
- If you logged hours over the summer (May 1st through the end of July) you can still log these hours! (this excludes first years who cannot claim hours before their first date of matriculation which was July 23rd, 2018). I will approve summer hours until August 15th, 2018.
- All hours must be logged within 30 days of the event (this excludes hours claimed from May 1st to July 31st- see above bullet point)
- Logged entries from the previous system were transferred to the new system. If your hours are not showing up or if you were not in the old system and would like them to be in the new system, please send a spreadsheet of your hours to the touch program directly at touch@aacom.org and let them know that you were not in the old system and/or your hours are not showing up so that they can add them in from their end. THIS ONLY APPLIES TO HOURS THAT WERE SUBMITTED TO LANGLEY/GEORGETTE IN MARCH AND WERE APPROVED
- FYI- once your spreadsheet is added by AACOM you will only see your hours if you click on the “export all hours” on your Track It Forward homepage when you login in
- TOUCH vs volunteer hours: TOUCH hours are defined as any service that is not self-serving that benefits the community and is not compensated or directly beneficial to the school. This means that pretty much anything that you volunteer for (including all e-mails I send out) are TOUCH approved so you can log them as TOUCH hours in the system. If you have any questions about whether it counts as a TOUCH opportunity, please e-mail me. Please note that any hours that are logged as volunteer hours do not get TOUCH recognition and do not go toward your TOUCH hour total.
- Due to the design of the Track it Forward website, ALL volunteer activities must have an event coordinator and e-mail listed (The attached rules and regulations documents has not been updated to reflect this new change in the system)
- If your hours logged at an event exceed 8 hours, please provide a description in the notes section as to your responsibilities that led to the long/extended hours.
Class of 2021- The Blood Pressure booth at the state fair does NOT count for TOUCH hours.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your current school TOUCH coordinator.
