(2019) Co-recipient of The Erik Kempe Award given by The European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) for the article Conservation Contracts and Political Regimes Review of Economic Studies 84, 1708-1734, 2017. “The prize is awarded every other year to the best paper in the field of environmental and resource economics, published in the previous two years in a refereed journal by an author affiliated to a European research institution.”


(2011) Co-recipient of The Christopher P. Kaneb Prize for “the best paper in environmental, resource, or energy economics by a Harvard Masters student as determined by a panel of Faculty Fellows of the Harvard Environmental Economics Program. The award refers to the paper “The Economic Effect of Natural Resources,” which circulated under the title ‘The Economic Impact of Oil Endowment: The Case of Norway.”


(2009) Harvard’s Dean Fellowship given to “applicants who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and professional distinction, as defined by the Admissions Committee and the Financial Aid Committee...”
