Presentation project
· Choose any one of the topics discussed in the classroom and choose a partner. This activity must be done by a pair of students. Presentation can be formed as an informal discussion between two experts or as an interview by an interviewer and an expert. Before starting, go on the Internet and watch similar presentations and explore what works best and what does not.
· Prepare notes, points and questions for discussion. You can use your notes during the recording. Plan your recording.
· Record a 10-15 minutes video of the discussion. You will need a third person, possibly a fourth one to record two video cameras. You can edit/combine your videos later. You can improve your video with annotations, graphics, introduction etc.
· Upload the final video to Youtube and send the link to the instructor before Monday, 15 January 2018.
You will be evaluated by the following criteria.
· Insight into the topic chosen (10 points)
· Use of vocabulary, ie keywords and academic words (10 points)
· Plan and execution of the presentation (10 points)
Keywords list and graph project
Send all the keywords that you understand and can use from the Oxford 3000 and the Oxford Academic Keywords as a Microsoft Excel file to the instructors email, before Monday, 25 December 2017.
Your vocabulary skills will be tested in the classroom and evaluated according to the following criteria.
The extent of active vocabulary (5 points)
Use of vocabulary in real life situations (5 points)
