I suppose the process of acceptance will pass through the usual four stages: i) this is worthless nonsense; ii) this is an interesting, but perverse, point of view; iii) this is true, but quite unimportant; iv) I always said so"

Welcome to my personal website!
PhD economist with over 15 years of expertise in empirical modelling and predictive analytics in business, policy and academic environments, I bring a mix of strong analytical skills and effective communication, which I can flexibly tailor to the audience.
Since 2016 I have led teams to “make data talk”, at the BoE, Dun&Bradstreet, and now UBS, where I am Director of Research at UBS Global Research and Evidence Lab, in a team of empirical scientists who apply hypothesis-driven methods to support of investment decisions.
My academic works have been published in journals such as Economic Policy, Economics Letters, and European Journal of Political Economy; my policy work has been covered by media such as The Economist and Bloomberg; my commentaries have been featured on The Guardian, Raconteur, Evening Standard, and others.
