Assistant Professor of Mathematics | Researcher in Computational Neuroscience
Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, with over 14 years of research experience spanning the UK, Italy, Canada, and Saudi Arabia. My expertise lies in mathematical modeling, computational neuroscience, and neuroimaging, particularly in analyzing brain function using MRI and neural networks.
I hold a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Brain Sciences from the University of Trento, Italy, and an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Its Applications from the University of Kent, UK, along with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
My research focuses on:
✔ Mathematical Modeling & Algebra (Galois Theory, Solvable Groups, Counting Symmetries)
✔ Brain Imaging & fMRI Data Analysis ( Structural, Functional & Directional Connectivity)
✔ Computational Neuroscience & Machine Learning Applications ( AI model for fMRI data skull stripping, denoising )
✔ Neurodegenerative Disease Studies & Opioid Drug
I have published 16+ peer-reviewed papers, authored two books, and contributed to projects funded by institutions in Canada, the USA, the UK, France, and Saudi Arabia. My work has been cited 350+ times, with an h-index of 9 on Google Scholar. Additionally, I actively review manuscripts for high-impact journals and collaborate with international research teams.
Beyond research, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring, having supervised graduate and undergraduate students across multiple universities. I also serve as an MRI data analysis consultant and contribute to projects in cognitive neuroscience and machine learning applications in neuroimaging.
