I am a Distinguished (tenured) Researcher in Economics at the University of Alicante. I am also an External Member of NOVAFRICA, an Invited Researcher at J-PAL, a Research Fellow at IZA, a member of SPANDE, and an Associate Editor of the European Journal of Health Economics.
Before joining UA, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Nova School of Business and Economics. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Paris School of Economics.

I work in development economics, focusing on health, migration, and cultural beliefs and social norms. My research relies on field experiments, long-term follow-ups, and policy-oriented empirical analysis.
