Seminar on computational calculations at Hilase: 2nd session on equation discretization

Here is announcement of the 2nd seminar for computational techniques. I propose to present slides on :

Requirement to join this session is to have a look to the picture on the right,

... where you can see different types of information transport described using partial differential equations (PDEs). Purposes of the seminar are to provide efficient methods: - to solve simple PDEs using your own numerical codes, - to perform one-dimension calculations and two-dimension calculations using simple meshes, - to validate the obtained results efficiently, step by step. As for the 1st session, the slides will be distributed in PDF after the seminar by registration to the mailing list
