A word about Tinderbox funding

Tinderbox is an un-funded, non-profit making event.

The three members of Red Square each contribute £50 'seed' money to cover set up costs (portaloos, temporary event licence etc).

Ian owns the field where the festival is held, Jon uses his own PA for sound reinforcement, and a very good friend of ours, Pete Walker, supplies the staging and outdoor cabling, free of charge.

For the rest, we rely on the kindness of strangers and volunteers to help us run things on the day!

Any money that we make above costs is distributed to the musicians, and the Festival accounts are shared with them after the event.
