I am the Principal of Te Awa School in Napier. Te Awa School is a decile 1 contributing primary with around 210 students. I believe we are an achieving school where most of our students (80%) are achieving at their expected curriculum level. As with all schools we have our difficulties but we have a firm belief that we over come the barriers, go around or over if need be.
My portfolio is about my professional research and my personal inquiry into leading and managing Te Awa School. This portfolio by no means is an account of everything that I have learnt and tried as a leader.
