Welcome, Turtles!
Our team is so excited to embark on this swimming journey with you and help your child develop essential skills in a fun and safe environment.
What to Expect:
Our experienced coaches will focus on:
Water Safety: Teaching children how to be safe in and around water.
Basic Swimming Techniques: Introducing fundamental strokes such as freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
Confidence Building: Encouraging children to feel comfortable and confident in the water.
Fun Activities: Incorporating games and activities to make learning enjoyable.
Our coaches will review each child’s registration application and will spend the first several lessons assessing your child’s ability in the water. Coaches will work to progress lessons at each child’s pace and gently challenge them to try new techniques under close supervision.
What to Bring:
Swimsuit: Your child should arrive to the lesson in a comfortable and well-fitting swimsuit. Changing areas are limited at the pool.
Towel: For drying off after the lesson.
Swim Cap: Optional, but recommended for children with long hair. Swim caps can be purchased for $5. If your child has long hair and does not want to wear a swim cap, please make sure their hair is pulled back/up and out of their face during lessons.
Goggles: To protect their eyes and help them see underwater.
Flip Flops or Sandals: For walking around the pool area.
We look forward to seeing you at the pool on June 4th and making a splash together! If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at TimberlakeTurtles@gmail.com.
