I am a Research Fellow at the Robert Schuman Center for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, and a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Bologna. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Religion, Economics, and Society, Chapman University. I earned my Ph.D. from the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies, and my doctoral thesis was awarded the Institute's Alumni Association Prize for the best thesis in Development Economics from 2017 to 2023.
My research is on political economy, trade, and development. I am an Associate Editor of the Journal of Economics, Management and Religion.
