I fell in love with biking under the influence of Professor Evans from Pitt. I have completed multiple 100km day trips and my pb is 4 hours and 2 minutes (Tour the Montour). I have also completed a 100-mile day (Cumberland, MD -> Myersville, MD).
Lexington, KY also has some amazing trails to offer. If you are in town and have some free time, check out the well-maintained Legacy Trail that connects downtown LEX and the famous Kentucky Horse Park
Completed Rides (Not Peer-Reviewed)
Pittsburgh to DC
Solo
In 2016, I biked from Pittsburgh to Washington DC through the Great Allegheny Passage and the C&O Canal Trail. This route is really beautiful especially during Autumn. Please feel free to ask me if you wish to know more about it. Here are some pictures I took during my ride.
Cincinnati to Cleveland
Solo
In 2021, I biked from Cincinnati to Cleveland through the Ohio to Erie Trail. It was a unique experience that took me through major metropolitans (Cincy, Columbus, and Cleveland), the Amish country, and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Plus the unexpected snow towards the end of the trip made things very interesting. Please feel free to ask me if you wish to know more about it. Here are some pictures I took during my ride.
