THYROID SURGICAL DISEASES (ROJOSON, 1986)

EPILOQUE

Meister Echart, a philosopher of the 13th century, stated: “The shell must be cracked apart if what is in it is to come out. If you want to know the kernel, you must break the shell.”

With this book, I have attempted to break the thick shell that surrounds the controversies and the confusion these controversies generate regarding thyroid surgical diseases. It is hoped that the kernel, that is, thyroid surgical diseases and their controversies, lies a bit more exposed for our study and understanding. I’m sure there is still much to be found and understood. Comfort lies in the fact that the first step has been taken. The shell been cracked apart, the kernel is now exposed awaiting you.
