About Us

THV Equestrian, like many things starts with a love story. In fairy tales when a man meets a woman, they fall instantly and deeply in love, this is how our story begins. Fast forward a few years (we'll skip the boring stuff) and we own a beautiful century home on 8 acres. In our first year here, we made an outdoor grass and sand ring, temporary stalls, a small indoor arena and many plans for expansion in the future! A few years have passed and while our vision is the same some things have changed. We now have permanent stalls for our four residents, an indoor arena that doubles as a dog agility arena and a huge outdoor grass ring.

Our love story would not be complete without our children of course. We have five human children who come and go. These little people are lucky enough to live a fun and free lifestyle here at THV. Stephen and Patricia (that's us!) were not finished adding to the family with only two legged children.....so now have a family that includes all seven humans, three dogs, eight cats, four horses, twenty one hens, nine chicks, a duck, a pig, a sheep, three goats a hive of bees! Everybody that lives on the farm has a job (or two or three!) some are as simple as keeping us company, and then there are the more complex jobs in animal assisted learning.
