Aaron is a native of Lapeer where he graduated from Lapeer East High School. He attended Saginaw Valley State University where he studied euphonium and trombone with Roger Weyersberg and performed in the SVSU Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, and Cardinal Singers. He graduated with his bachelor's degree in 2012 and taught his first year in the Benton Harbor Area Schools. After one year in Benton Harbor, he ended up at USA where he is beginning his third year of teaching.
Aaron currently lives in Marlette with his wife Katelyn and their two cats. He is still an active musician, performing in various pit orchestras, the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band, and the Belle Valley Community Band.

Laura grew up in the Carsonville/Port Sanilac area, and she graduated from Alma College. She holds a Masters degree from Marygrove College, and she currently serves as Financial Manager of Tri-County Honors Band.

Darin McNabb

Darin grew up in Croswell and graduated high school as valedictorian in 1985. He earned his Bachelor's degree in music education, mathematics, and psychology from Adrian College in 1989. From 1990 to 1997, he taught band and math at Memphis High School, all the while completing his Masters degree in Educational Leadership at Wayne State University. Then, after two more years teaching at Almont High School, Darin settled in Kinde at North Huron, where he continues teaching band, geometry, and psychology today. In 2007, he completed a middle school endorsement program at Central Michigan University. Darin currently lives west of Bad Axe with his wife, Brooke, and three daughters, Audrey, Caroline, and Lily.
Darin currently serves as co-chairperson for Tri-County Honors Band.

George is a 1999 Graduate of Bad Axe High School. He has his associates in arts degree from St. Clair Community College, his Bachelor in Music degree from Western Michigan University, and Masters in Conducting from Sam Houston State University. He taught in Wildwood Florida during the '07-'08 school year followed by Carsonville-Port Sanilac schools where he taught from '08-'13. He has been teaching at Bad Axe since the fall of 2013 where he teaches MS and HS choir, beginning band, MS and HS band. George also runs an after school Jazz Band and Pep Band.

Don Starks

Don was born in Amarillo, Texas and grew up moving between Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. He attended college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He had various jobs after graduating, one of which was owner of a custom framing and art store in Bay City. Over the years, Don has taught music and private lessons in different places (even while running a business).
He started full time at Owen-Gage in 1999, where he currently teaches 5-12 grade band and 6th and 7th grade history.
