We are always looking for motivated, talented scientists to join our team.

Undergraduate students are welcome to work on junior or senior independent work in the lab. Typical projects might include:

• design, fabrication and characterization of nanophotonic structures

• design and construction of laser systems and electronics, in fiber or free space

• quantum optics calculations and experiments

• any crazy idea we can agree on

Graduate students can easily join my group from the ECE or Physics PhD programs, or from the new Quantum Science and Engineering PhD program. I recommend that students interested in my group select the program that is the best match to their broader interests. There is no need to contact me in advance of applying, however if you have questions that affect whether you will apply (or to which program you will apply), I will do my best to answer them via email.
