Prospective graduate students

Openings: We are always looking for students with a strong mathematical background in optimization, control, and machine learning. Please drop us an email with your CV if you are interested.  

My research interests: span the intersection of control theory, optimization, and applied probability theory, with the main focus on reinforcement learning, machine learning, and distributed optimization over multi-agent systems (robotic networks, autonomous systems, and cyber-physical systems). About ECE department: The ECE Department has 86 tenured or tenure-track faculty members, 30 research faculty members, and external research expenditures exceeding $35 million annually. The department has programs that are among the nation’s largest and strongest in power electronics, power systems, embedded systems, wireless communications and networking, space science and engineering, remote sensing, fiber optics and photonics, and computational biology.
