To access and use the Things That Must Not Be Forgotten - Google Lit Trip, you must do the following:

Download the .kml file from below or from the Google Lit Trips website (look in either the 9-12 or Higher Ed sections)
Make sure that you have an up-to-date version of Google Earth, or download and install Google Earth
Open the .kml file in Google Earth and start exploring China in the 1930's. Note - a built-in pathway has purposely been left out of this GLT . . . just explore the various place markers that have been organized by city folders in the kml file where they have been laid out in order of importance in the book for each city (rather than the chronological order of the book). I chose to present this GLT in this way as my father's story unfolds in the book in a way that is not linear by geographical location (i.e. my father goes back and forth between Peking/Beijing and Beidaihe).

This workshop outlined my journey of research and discovery as I built and published this GLT for "Things".
