Research experience and contributions
1. Low voltage and power selective electron beam melting powder bed AM prototype as part of AM-CoE (Funded by DHI and Wipro 3D – Ongoing)-Project funding of INR 1050 Lakhs
2. Development of high-temperature strain gauges for aero engine turbine blades (AR&DB-DRDO)- Highest scored project in GATET-93/100
3. Development of thin film solid state micro batteries with a specific capacity of 100μAh/cm2-μm(RCI, DRDO)
4. Development of packaging methodologies for thin film micro batteries considering the issues related to long-term stability and retention of capacity for 5,000 cycles (MEITY, GoI) –Solid state battery with long cylibility
5. Fabrication of Anisotropic Magneto Resistance SAW based wireless sensors for Aerospace Application (Funded by Honeywell Technology Solutions, India).
6. Development of pilot production for coating high aspect ratio micro tools or sewing needles using Oblique Angle Ionized PVD at low temperature (part of Ph.D. thesis).
7. High-temperature oxidation behavior of CrN and AlCrN coatings deposited on Aero engine components (Funded by Honeywell Technology Solutions, India)
