Christmas Hamper Charity Raffle

The Christmas Hamper Raffle will be drawn at about 9.30pm, between the Questions and the Answers, during the Christmas Quiz on Wednesday 17th December.

There are still opportunities to buy tickets at the Monday and Tuesday snooker evenings and before the draw on Quiz Night. 

Tickets cost £1 and can be bought at the bar.  If you are not going to be at the draw, please put a name or phone number [or both] on the stub, so we can contact you if you win.

As ever, the winner of the Hamper will also choose the Charity that will receive the proceeds. 

The proceeds currently stand at about £100, it would be nice to ease this up a little.

Christmas Quiz Night – Wednesday 17th December

As is usual for the Christmas Quiz, there will be more prizes and more opportunities to win.  We aim for every team to win something.  Not surprisingly, the Quiz will have a Christmas theme.

A Secret Santa has donated some really worthwhile items that will be given as Spot Prizes for some additional themed questions.

Prizes for the best Christmas themed outfits, headwear and/or jewellery etc, will also be awarded.

Crisps and nibbles as usual, plus a few seasonal additions.  Please feel free to bring mince pies.

All this for just £3.00!!

If you have often thought about coming to a Quiz but have never done so, this is the one to try.

Quiz Nights in 2026

After a three-week gap, caused by the timing of New Year’s Eve, the first Quiz Night of 2026 will be on Wednesday 7th January.  Quizzes will continue on alternate Wednesdays thereafter.

For those who have not yet been to one of our Quizzes, the doors open at 7.45 and the quiz gets going at about 8.15 once we have settled everybody into a team. 

Do not worry if you are not part of a team, we always ensure that anybody arriving on his or her own is found a team to join and that nobody is left on their own.
