Genetics Camp 2014
The 9th Genetics Camp is officially endorsed by the Department of Education. Please refer to
DepEd Advisory No. 454 S. 2013.
This year’s theme: “GENEovation :Paving the Way for Medical Improvement through Pharmacogenomics” focuses on Pharmacogenomics, a new field of genetics that holds the promise that drugs might one day be tailor-made for individuals and adapted to each person's own genetic makeup. This will be a way for the participants to widen their knowledge about genetics by delving deeper in one of its applications in medical research. Since the Genetics Camp targets students all over Luzon, the dissemination of information will widen the awareness on pharmacogenomics in our country.
