The Samuel and Ruth Song Foundation, a non-profit religious organization, would like to offer scholarship grants to twenty individuals currently pursuing advanced education in order to assist their development as Christian role models. Additionally, The Samuel and Ruth Song Foundation hopes to support the outreach of bettering the community through a foundation of Christian ideals.

The Foundation intends to distribute twenty (20) individual grants in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1000) each.  Applicants will be selected based on merit, financial need, and demonstrated history and intent of Christian pursuits and aspirations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

All students currently enrolled in any Masters or Doctorate level graduate program is eligible to apply. There is a minimum requirement of having completed at least 2 class equivalent or 6 class units during the 2025-2026 school year application period.

Recipient selection will be based on:

• Academic history

• Church relationships and history

• Work experience and volunteer/extra-curricular activities

• Financial need

• Application

• Essays regarding the applicant's history of faith and hopes of future plans, including Christian goals, aspirations, and an assessment of his/her perceived call to future activities.

Applicants may be pursuing degrees in any field.  A focus on religious study is not a requirement.

If selected as a scholarship award recipient, official transcripts will be required to verify the minimum class requirement of 2 class equivalent or 6 class units during the Fall of 2025 or Spring of 2026.

To be considered for scholarships awarded in Summer 2026, completed applications will be accepted beginning of February 2026 until March 31, 2026.  Applications must be received via e-mail by 11:59 PM on March 31, 2026.  Scholarship recipients will be notified during Summer 2026.

Please make sure that your email will still be valid until at least July 2026 (if changes are needed, please notify us ASAP).
