Peter Goddard :- Peter temporarily jumped ship.

Peter Goddard:- I have started to construct a model of the Welland Canal, [Canada, Great Lakes], 500 ton Gate Lifter, and I attach a couple of “Construction Pics”! I was going to use 6” pulleys, [32 required], and had actually sourced them, when I realised that the Car was not ‘big’ enough, and I would also have problems in the ‘Workshop’ so I reverted to 3” pulleys, therefore Scale = 1/3rd of an inch to 1 foot!

Semi-Detached House (built by Pam)

From Building Set No. 3. A much larger model to include pillars, bay windows, large roof, garden walls and many windows at front and rear.

Large House with extension and stand alone garage (built by Richard)

From Building Set No. 4. From the largest of the 1950’s Outfits this model is quite large and includes all the 8 bases, medium, large and flat roofs, arch corner bricks, gates and matching balustrades. A very pleasing model.

Seaside Shelter (built by Richard)

From Building Set No. 0 the Lower No Outfit with basic parts but a good amount of models can be built from this set.

Seaside Chalet (built by Pam)

From Building Set No. 1 Extra parts not in Outfit ‘0’ to allow larger models with more details. Extra base and screws, small roof, larger window and long bricks etc.

Promenade Café (built by Pam)

From Building Set No. 2. A more adventurous model with Bay Windows at rear and bricks using both sides to give more detail around Entrance Door. Extra parts include medium roof, bay window cover, steps and longer rods.

Brian Gulley: - Here are some photos of challenger 2, Approx 1/10th scale. from left to right. 1. overview of chassis and turntable. 2 Track adjustment system. 3. RC speed controllers and drive sprockets. 4. Tracks in position(made from 50mm steel hinges.

- School project make a model of a monument. She chose to do
it with Meccano.
This also has earned her a Blue Peter Badge.
