A message from our Vice President

Dear Possible Fellow Rotarian

I have been a Member of The Rotary Club of Downham Market, your home town for eighteen years, resulting in me getting to know some Great People.

Our Club was founded in 1957 and has supported Downham Market, Our Local Community and its Charities for the past 68 years. As with all Clubs however, the Internet, Social Media, people working from home, and the serious absence of regular contact with Like Minded People, means that Clubs like ours and other similar "People Orientated and Charitable" organisations are sadly losing support.

I am therefore writing to you personally to invite you to research Downham Market Rotary Club and consider joining us, enabling us to reach our 100th birthday in 2057.

From the town's population of around 14,000 residents, we are looking for around 20/25 men and women (twenty to twenty five) aged between 35 to 60 to join us and support our aims and ideals in our local community. If we find more we will have one of the biggest clubs in Norfolk. Now there's a challenge!
