Work in progress
1. The problem sets
Problem set for Section 1
Problem set for Section 2 & 3
Problem set for Section 4 & 5
Problem set for Section 6 & 7
2. PeerWise
The correct answers to most of the questions can be found on PeerWise. To get an account on PeerWise fill out this form. Once you get a confirmation email (this may take a few days) you can register on the PeerWise site here.
This video explains the process and how to navigate PeerWise
PeerWise also includes some additional "concept" questions. Some of these concept questions will be review questions from previous sections.
I encourage you to add your own questions to PeerWise. You learn much more by writing a question than by answering one. However, please don't use the "Section" tag so that it is easy to identify the answers to the problem sets. Instead use descriptive tags like "entropy" or "equilibrium constant"
3. MAPLE and Wolfram|Alpha
Many of the answers on PeerWise are prepared using the program MAPLE. However, these questions can also be answered using a scientific graphing calculator or the free online site Wolfram|Alpha. If you find that this is not the case leave a comment in the discussion forum.
