Matching Grant Naming Opportunity

In every even number year the Foundation sponsors an up to $25,000 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity for all Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

The 2024 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to Maryvale Preparatory School to establish the Theresa F. Truschel Innovation and Engineering Center. 

The 2022 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to Sacred Heart School of Glyndon in Baltimore County, Maryland to establish the Theresa F. Truschel Library.  

The 2020 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to St. Francis of Assisi School in Baltimore, Maryland to establish the Theresa F. Truschel Memorial Wellness Center which was operating at the beginning of the school year and was formally dedicated in May 2021.

The 2018 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to The Catholic High School of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland. The newly modernized Theresa F. Truschel Robotics Lab was dedicated in October 2018.

The 2016 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School in Middle River, Maryland. The newly constructed Theresa F. Truschel Playground for the Early Learning and Childcare Center Program was dedicated in June 2017.

The 2014 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to School of the Incarnation in Gambrills, Maryland. The newly constructed Theresa F. Truschel Music Room was dedicated in Fall 2014.

The 2012 Matching Grant Naming Opportunity was awarded to Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville, Maryland. The newly renovated Theresa F. Truschel Science Lab was dedicated in January 2013.

Another Matching Grant Naming Opportunity will be announced in 2024.
