This simple pitch measuring flash interaction is for educational purposes and is ideal for someone who can't read any numbers on the propeller. Imagine you just pulled your boat out of the water and found the propeller seriously corroded or damaged. Your looking for a replacement and a friend has an old propeller but is not sure of the size. By using this program you can get an idea of what the pitch is to see if the friends propeller would be a suitable replacement. Of course other variables like cup, diameter, multiple blade measurements, blade design, rake, progressive pitch and prop-shaft taper have to be considered as well.
