Var. 2
The rhythm distinction here ranges from eighth notes to sixteenth notes as the dominant force in the thematic restatement. The theme is somewhat underlined in the sixteenths, however, the l.h. has a walking-bass mainly made as single notes only (that is, moving quarter notes in succession)
Var. 3
The theme is restated as a triplet figure, mostly in the right hand, and rarely divided between the hands. The triplets are in arpeggio style and the style here is reminiscent of early Hayden. Like Variation 2, the left hand features the walking bass pattern.
Var. 6
The left hand and the right hand take turns in the utilization of running 16th notes that competes with the themes the slower notes played almost resembling that which happened in Variation 2.
