The Author: Donna Girouard

A native of Massachusetts, I moved to North Carolina in 2008. I have an M.A. in literature from Florida Atlantic University and an M.F.A. in creative nonfiction from Converse College. I teach literature and writing at Livingstone College, an HBCU (historically Black college / university) in North Carolina, where I also edit the student literary magazine, The Bears' Tale. My essays have appeared in Writer’s Bloc, Embodied Effigies, Storm Cellar Quarterly and Apeiron Review (see "News" for the links).
