I've never ran can I really come along and give it a go?
Of course you can. We do encourage people to use the NHS couch to 5km app to build up to jogging 10-15 mins non stop before coming to a session ideally. This helps ups adapt the session for all levels.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes to run in. Trainers, t-shirt, jogging bottoms/leggings, jacket (in winter/rain). Material which is not too thick as this will become heavy if it rains. Bright clothing in the winter with a light/headtorch when its dark.
How long is the session?
1 hour - with plenty of rests if you need them!
What do the sessions consist of?
5-10min warm up, main session, cool down and stretches. We don't just go for a run we adapt to all abilities and change the sessions each week.
Should I eat beforehand?
Ideally dont eat for about an hour beforehand
What should I bring with me?
Yourself, water if its hot, reflective clothing if darker nights, £2, anything required medically.
