From the forestry car park at West Fruie I had anticipated following the forest road past Tulloch swinging round N to meet the summit clearing. However the going looked easy heading direct from Tulloch which apart from a few fallen trees proved to be the case. From the summit there was an obvious path heading S down the ridge which continued as a biking track (holes filled with rocks, etc) to follow the wall to the 372 spot height before Cairn Hill. The way next to the wall where it turned SW appeared to be blocked by trees but there was a large grassy area N of the wall which led to a wide forest break which met the wall again about half way down its length. From here it looked as if you could follow the wall down, but I kept to the left heading SSW along a wide grassy band to NN223613 where you could make your way down to the road at NN221612. The photos show this track (it is less gorsey further back) and the river opposite. This would be the easiest line of ascent.
