28B Eildon Mid Hill

Although not the shortest, the route recommended to me was by St Cuthbert’s Way from Bowden at NT554306. The route is mostly straightforwards, but after crossing the road at NT550312, do not ascend the steps, rather turn right on the path running parallel to the road. From the col between the fort and the Marilyn, make your way up any of the tracks to the trig point. Return by the same route.
